67’s and Generals renew hostilities in divisional matchup
For the sixth time this season, but first in nearly a month, the Ottawa 67’s will do battle with the Oshawa Generals, Friday night.
The Arena at TD Place is the setting for another key East Division matchup, with just three points separating these two teams in the standings. Fans can watch live locally on Rogers TV, stream on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls on the radio call for TSN 1200.
Luca Pinelli reached 40 goals on the season, Monday, scoring twice in a 6-3 Ottawa win over the North Bay Battalion in the annual Family Day Game. Brady Stonehouse also scored twice, pairing with markers from Henry Mews, and Sam Mayer.
Oshawa is also riding high after Family Day, seeing as they picked up a 6-0 home victory against the Niagara IceDogs. Luke Torrance scored two, while Connor Punnett, Stuart Rolofs, Beckett Sennecke, and Calum Ritchie also hit the twine.
The 67’s have won all but one matchup with the Generals, this season, but the last three straight have required overtime.
