Blackpowerbarbie Artwork for The Ottawa 67’s in Honour of Black History Month
The Ottawa 67’s are proud to feature Amika and blackpowerbarbie for Black History Month.
“I created this illustration for the Ottawa 67’s in honour of Black History Month celebration to capture a feeling of strength and joy. Inspired by the colours of the Pan-African flag, the piece features a hummingbird – a symbol of resilience and spirit in the Black community – set against the backdrop of the Rideau Canal, connecting cultural pride with place and history.”
