5 reasons you can’t miss the 67’s home opener on Friday night
The Ottawa 67’s will kick off their quest for the J. Ross Robertson Cup at 7 PM on Friday night, when they host the Niagara IceDogs in their home opener. It promises to be another exciting night inside The Arena at TD Place – one that you certainly don’t want to miss. Here’s why:
Launching O’Riley’s
Ottawa’s new gathering point for fun and excitement is the brand-new O’Riley’s at Gate 4. You and your friends don’t have to go far to find your Friday night meeting spot, we’ve got it right here for you.
Before puck drop, enjoy $6.70 Tall Cans of Budweiser and Bud Light, and a social atmosphere you can’t beat at the arena. If you choose to stick around after puck drop, you won’t miss a second of the action, with TVs broadcasting the game.
Entertainment with DJ TDOT
As if the O’Riley’s experience couldn’t get any better, we haven’t told you about the best part yet. Pre-game, and during the intermissions, your ears will be blessed with the musical talent of Ottawa’s very best, DJ TDOT.
It’s going to be a beautiful night, so why not spend some time outside enjoying the music? Good luck beating that combination.
Free Buffs
The first 800 fans in attendance on Friday night will walk away with their own 67’s branded Buff. Can’t decide what you want to wear on game day? This is the perfect piece of clothing for you.
Buffs can be worn in many different ways, the only limit is your creativity. Need a mask? Great, this is perfect. A bandana? Yup. Neck gaitor? That’ll work. Headband? You bet. Doo rag? Absolutely. So many different options.
Make sure you’re here early, these won’t last long.
The next generation of NHL talent
The Ottawa 67’s have sent some big names to the NHL, whether it’s players like Brian Campbell, Logan Couture, Sean Monahan, or more recently, Marco Rossi, Jack Quinn, and Pavel Mintyukov.
This season, the Barber Poles boast NHL-drafted talent poised to take the next steps in their hockey journey. Luca Pinelli (Columbus Blue Jackets), Matthew Mayich (St. Louis Blues), Cooper Foster (Pittsburgh Penguins), and Henry Mews (Calgary Flames) already have their NHL teams, while the likes of Charlie Hilton, Caden Kelly, Frankie Marrelli, Nic Whitehead, Kimi Körbler, and Filip Ekberg hope to hear their names called this summer.
You never know when you’re watching the next NHL superstar when you come to a 67’s game, so why not get ahead of the curve?

The 67’s are woven into the fabric that makes Ottawa a special place. It goes without saying, you want to share this special evening with the best fans in junior hockey, and cheer on the home team. Get your tickets HERE.
