Trout in town as 67’s look to stop skid
With their last two games of the season having gone down as — albeit different — losses, the Ottawa 67’s are looking to rebound on home ice, Saturday afternoon, with the Mississauga Steelheads in town.
Puck drop for Ottawa’s final game of the weekend is set for 3:00pm, and fans can watch live on Rogers TV, stream on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls call the action on TSN 1200, at the conclusion of the Ottawa Senators game.
Cooper Foster scored against the Brantford Bulldogs, last night, in a game where the 67’s outshot the road team badly, a 2-1 score was enough for the Bulldogs to steal a victory.
The Steelheads picked up a 6-3 win over the Frontenacs in Kingston, Friday, after storming out to an early 4-0 lead. Porter Martone, Luke Misa, Angus MacDonell, Zander Veccia, William Eggleton, and Lucas Karmiris provided the offence, as Jack Ivankovic made 38 saves in goal.
Ottawa took all four meetings with the Steelheads, a season ago, the last of which was an emphatic 10-3 win.
