67’s Select Defenceman Peter Stratis in the First Round of the OHL Priority Selection
OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa 67’s have selected defenceman Peter Stratis from the Mississauga Rebels with their first round pick (11th overall) in today’s OHL Priority Selection Draft.

The 16-year-old right-shot defenceman had 20 goals and 29 assists for 49 points in 70 games with the Rebels last season. He follows an impressive list of 67’s first-overall selections in recent years after Austen Keating (2015), Travis Barron (2014) and Travis Konecny (2013).

The 67’s have 15 picks in this year’s draft, including eight selections in the top-100. They include:
- 1 first-round pick (Peter Stratis | D | Mississauga Rebels)
- 2 second-round picks – (Carter Robertson | D | York Simcoe) + (Kevin Bahl | D | TMMM AAA)
- 1 third-round pick
- 2 fourth-round picks
- 2 fifth-round picks
The draft will consist of 15 rounds.
A full release announcing all 15 draft selections by the 67’s will go out at the conclusion of today’s draft.
