Matt Keetley named the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week
Toronto – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Matt Keetleyrof the Medicine Hat Tigers is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week afterrposting a 4-0-0-0 record with two shutouts, a 1.22 goals againstraverage and a .932 save percentage in four starts last week.
rKeetley made 20 saves in a 4-3 shootout win over the Prince AlbertrRaiders on November 8. He followed up with 15 saves in a 4-0 win overrthe Regina Pats on November 10. The 20-year-old from Medicine Hatrturned aside 19 shots for his second consecutive shutout, backing therTigers to a 3-0 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings on November 11 andrfinished the week with 15 saves in a 6-2 win over the Moose JawrWarriors on November 12.
rTrevor Cann of the Peterborough Petes was the OHL nominee after postingra 3-0-0-0 record with a 2.33 goals against average and .940 saverpercentage and Ondrej Pavelec was the QMJHL’s nominee after winningrboth of his starts last week with a 1.50 goals against average and .957rsave percentage.
