Three former QMJHL officials working in the Stanley Cup Final
The QMJHL would like to congratulate three of its former officials for being among those selected to work during the Stanley Cup Final.
This will be a third Stanley Cup mandate (2008-09, 2009-10) for Marc Joannette from Montreal, who previously spent 11 seasons in the QMJHL. He is now in his 20th season in the NHL.
Linesman Jonny Murray is now in his 18th year in the NHL. The Quebec City native spent seven seasons in the QMJHL and previously took part in the Cup Final in 2012 and 2016.
Now in his seventh NHL season, Matt MacPherson will be making his Stanley Cup Final debut. The Antigonish, Nova Scotia, native has previously spent five seasons in the QMJHL.
QMJHL management and current officials congratulate Marc, Jonny and Matt for their selection and wish them all the best.
