Our 20’s – Québec Remparts

Throughout the summer, we’ll be looking back at the QMJHL careers of our 20-year-old players, who will be moving on to new opportunities next season. Today, we feature the graduating players of the Québec Remparts.

Antoine Dorion

After a strong season with the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL, Dorion was invited to the Québec Remparts’ training camp in 2023, where he ultimately spent three seasons. The Franco-Ontarian forward and son of Pierre Dorion, the former general manager of the Ottawa Senators, developed into a reliable energy player in Québec, even convincing the St. Louis Blues to select him in the seventh round of the 2024 NHL Draft. After a junior career that produced 64 points in 165 games, Dorion will play for Maryville University next season.

Mathias Loiselle

After splitting the 2022–23 season between the Richelieu Patriotes in U18 AA and Polyvalente Marcel-Landry in U18 D1, Loiselle was invited to the Remparts’ training camp in 2023. He spent most of the 2023–24 season at the collegiate level with the St. Lawrence College Lions, while also appearing in 10 games with the Remparts. Then, following an 18-point season in 63 games with Québec, Loiselle began his 20-year-old season with Longueuil in the LHJAAAQ before finishing the year with the Remparts. He even took part in the Colorado Avalanche’s development camp a few weeks ago. The author of 43 points in 110 QMJHL games, Loiselle has committed to the University of Vermont.

Cal Uens

Uens, an Ontario native, spent four seasons in the OHL with Owen Sound and Kingston before being invited to the Remparts’ training camp in August 2025. The undersized defenceman of 5’9″ and 158 pounds quickly became the Remparts’ quarterback on the blue line, recording 49 points (13 goals, 36 assists) this season. His total ranked seventh among QMJHL defencemen in scoring. Uens will return home next season to continue his career at Queen’s University.
