A message from the Commissioner to our fans
Dear fans,
Have you missed the QMJHL? We missed you too and welcome you back to another exciting hockey season. This year, you will have the chance to witness the breakthrough of new stars like never before. We had an outstanding entry draft in Saint John last June, one in which we welcomed to the QMJHL super talented players like Alexis Lafrenière, Samuel Poulin, Xavier Parent, Justin Barron and Jaxon Bellamy.
These skaters are joining the cast of young stars that we already have in Joe Veleno, Benoit-Olivier Groulx, Xavier Bouchard, Jared McIsaac, Olivier Rodrigue and Alexis Gravel. It is a privilege that you have to be able to follow these rising stars closely every night. It’s undeniable that they need you behind them, cheering for them in their best moments, and supporting them through the difficult ones.
Fans, you are very important to us. You are an integral part of our success and we are continuously working hard to bring the league and the product on the ice to the next level. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League would like to wish you all a great 2017-18 season!
