Wildcats top the Drakkar 3-2 and tie the series once again!
What a night it was for you Wildcats, coming into the game down one game in the series after an overtime loss on Tuesday night, it was clear from the start they were out for redemption!
The series has been intense from the start and tonight was no different, lots of physical play, high intensity and a rivalry that has built fast. All of the games in this series have been tight ones and last night was no different. The Wildcats were never behind in scoring and managed to hold onto their 3-2 lead until the end to win game four and tie this series back at 2-2! With the win last night the team automatically forces a game six which means they will be headed back to Baie-Comeau on Monday.
Captain, Jonathan Aspirot opened the scoring tonight with a goal midway through the first to give the Cats an early lead, and would also record his first goal of the post-season. There were two points during the night where the game was tied, but when needed most, assistant captain Mika Cyr stepped up with two goals, one of which would be the game winner!
The final goes in as a 3-2 win for your Wildcats tying this series once again!
