Wildcats Sign Free Agent to the Team
Moncton NB – The Moncton Wildcats announce the Free Agent Signing of 18 year old Zack MacEwen from the Amherst Ramblers. He is a ‘96 born 6’4”, 200 lbs, Right Shot Centerman, from Stratford PEI. Zack has 28 pts this season for Amherst with 19 Goals and 9 assists.
Roger Shannon, Director of Hockey Operations for the Moncton Wildcats said, « Zack is a late bloomer who has really taken off this season in finding the back of the net. His big frame and great hands have caught up to each other. Zack will get his first taste of Major Junior hockey this Christmas season as the Wildcats are shorthanded. We are quite happy to have Zack and congratulate him on his first QMJHL action”.
The Wildcats return to action this Sunday, December 28th as they take on the Saint John Sea Dogs in game 4 of the Rivalry Cup. It’s PJ Party Night! Wear your favourite PJ’s to the game. Puck drops at 4PM.
