Titan season kicks off Friday!
Can you feel the excitement in the air?!
It’s because our Acadie-Bathurst Titan 2023 Home Opener is just around the corner! We have a lot in store to kick-off our 2023-24 QMJHL season and we cannot wait to share it with our community and the best fans in the league!
So, let’s get right to the main event, shall we?
There will be a number of activities both inside and outside the K.C. Irving Regional Centre on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, prior to puck drop when we host the Saint John Sea Dogs.
Between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., we will have dancers from Aspire Performing Arts, performing outside the main doors of the arena. At the same time, children will be able to enjoy bouncy castles, which will be in the upper parking lot. Both Bounce 104.9 and CKLE 92.9 radio stations will be outside and playing music from each of their respective stations.
Throughout the night we’ll have the musical stylings of local musician, and radio personality, Jeff Long. He’ll hit the stage in the Alpine Lounge, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and between the first and second periods. There will be drink and wing night specials at the bar.
The doors will open for the game at 6 p.m. and fans will have the chance to view a new 3D projection on site, a light show with spectacular pyrotechnics, and more.
In our Titan Store, we have something new for our younger fans: Titan T-shirts and ballcaps! Youth sizes range from extra small through to extra large for the shirts, and we have three different colours for the hats.
Your 2023-24 Titan players, administrative and hockey operations staff will be introduced on ice, before puck drop.
If it rains, all events will be moved inside and will take place at the Richelieu Rink.
Do you want to enjoy all the pre-game festivities without the line-up? Then don’t forget to buy your tickets online prior to the game.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our local Bathurst McDonald’s Family Restaurant, for once again sponsoring an initiative to help youth in our region, attend our home games. For every paying adult this season a maximum of one child will get in free to each home game.
The puck drops at 7pm against the Sea Dogs! We’re excited to see all our fans back in the rink as we celebrate and cheer on our Titan for our 26th season along the Bay of Chaleur.
GO TITAN GO!
