Titan partner with McDonalds to offer free child tickets
BATHURST, N.B. – Did you hear the great news?
You didn’t? Well, let us tell you!
We’re bringing back our initiative where kids get to attend our Acadie-Bathurst Titan home games for free!
Yes, you heard that correctly.
Thanks to the great success we had last year during the inaugural event, our McDonald’s Family Restaurant-sponsored initiative is back again! This great opportunity allows more youth in our region to cheer on their Titan. Our young fans showed us last year how loudly they can cheer and support their local major junior team, and we want to keep that enthusiasm and momentum going!
For every paying adult this season a maximum of one child will get in free to the K.C. Irving Regional Centre for Titan home games. This project is made possible by our local McDonald’s Family Restaurant, which has sponsored the initiative once again this season.
“Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to enjoy a hockey game with their loved ones. For us at McDonalds Bathurst, every home Titan game is a day for family, friends and community to come together to celebrate our region and our team. We are thrilled to be able to sponsor this initiative and highlight the importance of celebrating our Acadie-Bathurst Titan as a family,” said McDonalds Bathurst Franchise Owner, Ron McLellan.
“We were humbled by the overwhelming, positive response by the community for this project. Last season we saw a rise in the number of youth and families attending our home games, which was amazing! It made for a wonderful, positive and fun atmosphere at the rink,” said Acadie-Bathurst Titan Executive Director, Gilles Cormier. “We want to keep that great enthusiasm and momentum going this year, which is why we are beyond thrilled to bring this initiative back for a second year. We are very grateful to our McDonalds Bathurst for making this project a reality for our region and cannot wait to see everyone back at the rink!”
We first launched the event last year to kick-off our 25th anniversary in the community, and the program meant every child 11 years and younger were able to attend our home games for free!
Titan games are a place for families to enjoy a high-level of hockey, fun atmosphere, seeing future NHL stars in the making and, most importantly, a place to come together as a community and celebrate our team and our region.
We can’t wait to see everyone at the rink in the coming weeks and months as we get ready for a great season of Titan Hockey!
GO TITAN GO!
