GAME RECAP: Titan sink Drakkar on home ice

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan downed the Baie-Comeau Drakkar Thursday night in Bathurst. The home side pulled away with a 4-3 win over the visitors at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre.
Goal scorers for Bathurst were Dawson Sharkey, Alexandre Lallier, Tyson Goguen and Louis-François Bélanger. Matyas Melovsky, Justin Gendron and Anthony Lavoie netted the trio of goals for Baie-Comeau.
The Titan scored two in the first period (Sharkey at 4:09 and Lallier at 5:05) and a pair in the second (Goguen at 5:00 and Bélanger at 8:45) in Thursday’s win. Baie-Comeau had a goal in the first (Melovsky at 18:00), one in the second (Gendron at 2:36) and one on the power play in the third (Lavoie at 1:44).
Bathurst swept the Stars of the Game. Sharkey and Goguen each finished the night with two points and were named third and second stars, respectfully. Lallier, who had two assists and a goal in Thursday’s win, was named the first star.
