GAME RECAP: Titan down Sea Dogs in 5-3 win at home
A trio of goals in the third period helped propel the Titan to victory Friday night against the Saint John Sea Dogs. The home team pulled away with a 5-3 win at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre.
Colby Huggan, Milo Roelens and Dawson Sharkey found the back of the net for the Titan, while Brody Fournier, Drew Elliott and Coen Miller scored the three goals for Saint John. The Titan scored a goal in the first period, one in the second and three in the final frame. Saint John scored one goal in the second and two in the third period.
Huggan and Roelens finished the night with four points each and Bobby Orr had three points. Emile Perron, Noah Laberge, Igor Mburanumwe and Sharkey each had a point in the 5-3 win.
Bathurst swept the stars of the game with Roelens in third, Orr in second and Huggan with the first star of the night.
Acadie-Bathurst peppered Saint John’s net. After 60 minutes of QMJHL play, Justin Robinson had stopped 52 of Bathurst’s 57 shots on goal. Josh Fleming stopped 31 of the Sea Dogs 34 shots on goal.
The Titan are on the road tomorrow to faceoff against the Wildcats. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. at the Avenir Centre.
