GAME RECAP: Rimouski takes Saturday night win over Titan

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan lost at home Saturday night to the Rimouski Océanic. The visitors won 6-2 by the buzzer at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre.
Titan goal scorers were Dawson Sharkey and Colby Huggan. Alexandre Blais, Jacob Mathieu, Lou Lévesque, Jonathan Fauchon, Maël St-Denis and Thomas Belzil netted the six goals for the Oceanic.
Rimouski posted two points in the first (Blais at 2:18 and Mathieu on the power play at 18:17); a pair in the second frame (Lévesque with the game winner at 1:08 and Fauchon’s insurance goal at 19:02); and two in the third (St-Denis with the empty net 19:13 and Belzil at 19:58) to win the game.
Sharkey scored the home side’s first goal at 18:17 in the second frame on the power play. Huggan scored Bathurst’s second and final goal at 15:08 in the third period.
Mathieu – who finish the night with a goal and an assist – was named the first star of the game. Fauchon had two points and was named second star and Tyson Goguen was named the third star of the game.
