RECAP: Strong third period propels Sea Dogs to victory
SAINT JOHN – Stellar goaltending on both sides made scoring a challenge, but the Saint John Sea Dogs delivered a dominant third period to secure a 4-1 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Wednesday night at TD Station.
Outshooting the Titan 44-30, the Sea Dogs improved their record to an even 14-14-0-0.
Saint John goal scorers were Matteo Mann, Zachary Morin, William Yared, and Reid Calder. The lone goal for the Titan came from Maddex Marmulak.
GAME SUMMARY
Maddex Marmulak opened the scoring for the Titan at 13:35 in the first period, beating Charles-Édward Gravel blocker-side on a breakaway set up by Will Reynolds. The visitors would hold on to take the lead into the first intermission.
