Newfoundland Regiment Announces Strategic Partnership with Ascend Health
ST. JOHN’S, NL – June 6, 2025 – The Newfoundland Regiment Hockey Club is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Ascend Health, a leading provider of comprehensive health and wellness services in Newfoundland and Labrador. This collaboration will provide Regiment players, coaches, and staff with access to Ascend Health’s cutting-edge medical expertise, rehabilitation services, and wellness programs, aimed at optimizing performance and supporting player well-being both on and off the ice.
As part of this partnership, Ascend Health will provide tailored health and wellness support, including injury prevention, physiotherapy, sports medicine, and mental health resources. Additionally, select Ascend Health staff will join the Newfoundland Regiment as support staff within the hockey operations department, bringing their expertise directly to the team. Power Conditioning Inc. will serve as the official strength and conditioning provider, working in collaboration with Ascend Health to ensure the players receive elite-level performance training and physical development support.
