A loss to forget by the Titan.

Tonight, the Titan was hosting the powerful Halifax Mooseheads a team that even without their 3 best players (MacKinnon-Drouin-Frk) is still an excellent team.

In the first period, Acadie-Bathurst struck early with a goal by Andrew Meredith (4th) on a very nice pass by Robert Pelletier. The Mooseheads then opened up the machine, with a net domination of the shots 20-7 and scoring 3 straight goals, Halifax would take a 3-1 to the dressing room, after one period.

During the second period, the visitors continued their incredible domination with 2 more goals. The Titan had a few scoring chances including two breakaways while being short handed but Zachary Fucale shut the door on them. The Mooseheads had a 5 to 1 lead after 40 minutes played.

The Titan was able to apply more pressure on the visitors in the 3rd period. The Mooseheads increased their lead to five goals during the first half of the third. Adam Zboril (8th), on a very nice tic-tac-toe play with Robert Pelletier and Aidan Kelly, gave a little bit of hope to the hometown crowd with 9 minutes left in the game. However, towards the end of the period, Halifax regained their 5 goals lead, to register a convincing 7 to 2 win. The Titan winning streak would be stopped to 4.

Jacob Brennan and Samuel Sirois shared duties for the Titan, stopping respectively 14 and 18 shots. Robert Pelletier finished the game with 2 assists

The next Titan game will be held Friday January 11, in Cape-Breton against the Screaming Eagles.
