TRADE : Jaxon Bellamy passes into the hands of the Titan
The Phoenix made another trade today. Result: defenseman Jaxon Bellamy heads to Bathurst to join the Titans. In return, the Phoenix gets its hands on 3 picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts:
- 2nd round pick 2021
- 5th round pick 2021
- 2nd round pick 2022
Drafted in the 1st round of the 2017 draft by the Moncton Wildcats, Jaxon Bellamy joined the Phoenix in January 2018. #72 tallied 49 points in 156 games in the Phoenix uniform.
“We wish Jaxon the best of luck. I have a lot of respect for him. Jaxon was very involved in the Sherbrooke community and he has been a leader for our young players in the last few years. In addition to making efforts to learn French, he was a real model for our team,” says Stéphane Julien, head coach and GM.
