The Olympiques sign Peter Legostaev
GATINEAU – The Gatineau Olympiques announced Friday that they have signed 18-year-old forward Peter Legostaev.
“This is an excellent addition to our team. Peter has a powerful shot and excellent offense skills. He will bring interesting options to our offense,” said General Manager Serge Beausoleil.
A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Legostaev has played nine games in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Gatineau Olympiques. The six-foot-two, 194-pound right-handed forward has recorded eight points (five goals and three assists) so far in the 2025-2026 season.
In other news, the organization also announced that forward Alex Levasseur was reassigned on Friday. The Olympiques would like to thank Alex for his commitment to the team and wish him much success in the future.
