The Olympiques sign defenseman Wassim Rabbath
GATINEAU – The Gatineau Olympiques announced Tuesday that they have signed 16-year-old defenseman Wassim Rabbath.
“We’re very proud to add a player of Wassim’s calibre to our team. He has a lot of assets that will strengthen our team’s defensive squad in the future. This is a great news for the organization,” said General Manager Serge Beausoleil.
A native of St-Hubert, Rabbath was a 4th-round pick (61st overall) in the 2024 QMJHL draft. The six-foot-two defenseman currently plays for the Châteauguay Grenadiers in Quebec’s U18 AAA league.
