The Olympiques acquire Julien Paillé
GATINEAU – The General Manager of the Gatineau Olympiques, Serge Beausoleil, completed a transaction Monday involving forward Julien Paillé.
Paillé, 20, spent the 2023-2024 season in the Baie-Comeau Drakkar’s uniform, where he collected 53 points (27 goals and 26 assists) in 63 games. Since the start of the 2024-2025 season, the Sherbrooke native has played in six games, collecting 4 points (3 goals and 1 assist).
It’s a return to the Outaouais for Julien Paillé, who was selected in the 9th round (151st) by the Gatineau Olympiques in the 2020 auction. The left-winger played 15 games in a Gatineau uniform during the 2021-2022 season, collecting 3 points, including a goal.
In other news, the Olympiques and defenseman Emeric Gaudet have ended their association. The organization would like to take this time to thank Emeric for his time in the Outaouais, and at the same time wish him all the best for the future. The defenseman left his mark on the dressing room through his leadership and dedication.
