Justin Blais will miss eight to ten weeks of action
GATINEAU – The Gatineau Olympiques organization announced Sunday that defenseman Justin Blais will be out for 8 to 10 weeks due to an upper-body injury.
The 18-year-old defenseman had to leave the November 8 game against the Drakkar in Baie-Comeau after colliding with the boards.
He underwent successful surgery in the last few hours.
A second-round pick in 2023, Justin Blais has played 115 games with the Olympiques since the 2023-2024 season, scoring two goals and 14 assists.
