Charles Boutin named captain
GATINEAU – The Gatineau Olympiques organization announced Monday that forward Charles Boutin has been named captain. Boutin succeeds Olivier Nadeau as captain of the Olympiques.
Jérémie Minville, Alexander Gaudio and Mathis Gauthier will act as assistants. The Boischatel-born forward was acquired through a trade in the summer of 2023.
Since making his QMJHL debut in the 2019-2020 season with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, Boutin has scored 37 goals in 152 games. After 40 games in 2023-2024, the forward has already surpassed his best season with 39 points in 40 games so far.
