Screaming Eagles To Host Nurse Appreciation Night Friday At Centre 200
This Friday the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles will hold their inaugural Nurse Appreciation Night when the Screaming Eagles play host to the Saint John Sea Dogs at 7 PM.
Nurses attending the game will receive special ticket rates and they will be recognized during a pre-game ceremonial face-off and the national anthem. Nova Scotia Nurses’ Union President and Registered Nurse Janet Hazelton will participate in the opening puck drop.
Hazelton, a resident of Truro, is also a registered nurse and a vocal hockey fan. She cites a tremendous interest in the game of hockey from the nursing community. “Many, many nurses love and play the game, and have children playing the game. They love to watch the sport. We’ll be there on Friday night to show our support for the Screaming Eagles and we thank them for acknowledging our hard working nurses.”
Tickets for Friday’s game against the Sea Dogs can be purchased at the Centre 200 box office, by phone at 902-564-2200 or online at https://tickets.capebreton.ca/Online/default.asp
