Eagles Trade Matthew Lint To Acadie-Bathurst
The Cape Breton Eagles have traded defenseman Matthew Lint ( 2002-08-12) to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in exchange for Rimouski’s 12th round draft pick in 2021.
Lint was signed as a free agent by the Eagles prior to the 2019-20 season. He appeared in 17 games with the Eagles, scoring one goal, and was reassigned to Moncton in the NBPEIMMHL (Major U18) for the second half of last season.
Lint will be eligible to serve as an affiliate player for the first half of this season for Acadie-Bathurst while playing for Miramichi in the MHL (Jr. A)
Lint’s former Cape Breton team will be next in action tomorrow night when they visit the Saint John Sea Dogs. Puck drop is at 7 PM.
