Eagles congratulate Tomas Cibulka on World Junior Bronze

Prior to Thursday night’s matchup between the Cape Breton Eagles and the Quebec Remparts, the Eagles’ congratulated newly acquired defenceman Tomas Cibulka for winning the bronze medal with his home nation of Czechia at last week’s 2024 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.

Before puck drop, Assistant Business Manager Joey Haddad and Assistant General Manager John Hanna gifted Cibulka with a custom plaque recognizing his team’s achievement and his own contribution throughout the tournament.

Cibulka scored two goals in seven games at the tournament and was acquired by the Eagles on Jan. 6.
