Eagles Look To Keep Strong Play Alive As Series Shifts To Chicoutimi
After posting back to back shutouts in Sydney, the Cape Breton Eagles are looking to put the Chicoutimi Saguenéens on the brink with a 2-0 lead as the series shifts to Chicoutimi.
On the heels of a 4-0 win on Friday, the Eagles followed up with another shutout- but a game that came down to the wire as the Eagles topped the Sags 1-0 as Cam Squires scored the only goal, coming in the first period.
Special teams continues to be a story in the series, as a Chicoutimi power play that was electric in the regular season and in round one, went 0/10 in the two games at Centre 200. Depth in the Eagles offense has also been key, as five different goal scorers provided the offense during the opening portion of the series.
Here’s what else you need to know ahead of tonight’s game!
