Senators prospect Toure heads to Windsor
The Windsor Spitfires have acquired Ottawa Senators prospect Djibril Toure from the Sudbury Wolves.
In return, the Wolves acquired two OHL Draft picks.
Toure has been limited to just 24 games this year but has tallied six goals and 12 points from the Wolves’ blue line. The 20-year-old d-man was undrafted into the OHL and NHL but was signed by the Senators to a three-year entry-level contract in September after he impressed at NHL training camp.
In 81 OHL games, Toure has amassed 28 points (11 goals).
