The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies are now just one win away from capturing the President’s Cup after upsetting the Halifax Mooseheads by a 6-3 score in Game 5 that saw captain Rafael Harvey-Pinard lead the way with a hat-trick. The Huskies will aim to close out the series with a road victory Saturday.

Ontario Hockey League
After setting an OHL record with 14 straight playoff victories, the Ottawa 67′s have dropped two in a row versus the Guelph Storm but will look to return to their winning ways with a victory on home ice Friday to push their series edge to 3-2.
Western Hockey League
The Vancouver Giants must win Friday at home to keep their playoff hopes alive. After taking Game 1 of the Ed Chynoweth Cup Final versus the Prince Albert Raiders, the Giants have come up short in the next three games, mustering up a combined two goals in the process.
