Canucks sign Chiarot and Patterson to three-year entry-level contracts
Niagara IceDogs forward Riley Patterson and Brampton Steelheads forward Gabriel Chiarot have each signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Vancouver Canucks.
Acquired by Niagara from Barrie this past offseason, Patterson is coming off of a 25-goal, 59-point season with the Colts. Vancouver selected the Burlington, ON., native 125th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.
As for Chiarot, he had a career high 21 goals and 35 points with the Steelheads a year ago. A seventh round pick in the 2022 OHL Draft, Chiarot has played 114 games for the Steelheads.
