2026 WHL Championship Series updates
Game 5 (May 15) — Everett 5-2 Prince Albert
Everett wins series 4-1
For the first time in franchise history, the Everett Silvertips are WHL champions.
Shea Busch (FLA) had a hat-trick while Mattias Uyeda, Brek Liske, Nolan Chastko and Landon DuPont all had goals while Anders Miller turned aside 22 shots.
Prince Albert had goals from Brayden Dube and Justice Christensen while Michal Orsulak made 29 saves.
The Silvertips will now head to Kelowna to compete in its first ever Memorial Cup in Kelowna next week.

Game 4 (May 13) — Everett 5-2 Prince Albert
Everett leads series 3-1
The Finnish duo of Julius Miettinen (SEA) and Matias Vanhanen each had a goal and an assist for Everett as they took Game 4 5-2 over Prince Albert and in the process a 3-1 series lead.
Rylan Gould, Carter Bear (DET) and Shea Busch also scored for the Tips as Anders Miller made 31 saves. For the Raiders, Brandon Gorzynski (DAL) and Justice Christensen found the back of the net while Michal Orsulak stopped 30 shots.
Landon DuPont (2027) also chipped in with a pair of assists for Everett who are now one win away from their first WHL title.
Game 3 (May 12) — Everett 3-2 Prince Albert
Everett leads series 2-1
Julius Miettinen (SEA) scored the game-winner with 4:28 to play as Everett took a 2-1 series lead over Prince Albert.
Fellow Finn Matias Vanhanen scored, as did Luke Vlooswyk, while Anders Miller stopped 18 shots for the Silvertips. Max Heise (SJ) and Ben Harvey had goals for the Raiders as Michal Orsulak made 41 saves.
Carter Bear (DET) and Brek Liske each added a pair of helpers for the Tips.

Game 2 (May 9) — Everett 6-2 Prince Albert
Series tied 1-1
Carter Bear (DET) scored twice to lead Everett to a 6-2 win over Prince Albert in Game 2 of the WHL Championship Series.
Julius Miettinen (SEA) added four points (1G/3A) for Everett while Kayd Ruedig, Rylan Gould and Jesse Heslop also scored. Anders Miller made 37 saves. For the Raiders, Brock Cripps and Justice Christensen found the back of the net Michal Orsualk stopped 31 shots.
The Tips exploded in the first where they built a 3-0 lead that was never threatened there-on-out thanks to goals from Bear, Ruedig and Gould. Miettinen’s empty-netter sealed the deal before Heslop got his name on the scoresheet with a re-direct out front on a 5-on-3 power play with less than a second left in regulation.

Game 1 (May 8) — Prince Albert 4-2 Everett
Raiders leads series 1-0
The Prince Albert Raiders took Game 1 of the WHL Championship Series on the road after a 4-2 win in Everett.
Braeden Cootes (VAN) had a goal and an assist while Jonah Sivertson, Justice Christensen and Aiden Oiring also scored as Michal Orsulak stopped 39 shots.
For Everett, Carter Bear (DET) and Julius Miettinen (SEA) each had goals while Anders Miller made 22 saves.
Trailing after Bear’s series opener in the first, the Raiders used three second period goals to take control of the game that was secured with Oiring’s empty-net goal with 65 seconds left in regulation.
