2026 OHL Championship Series updates
Game 3 (May 10) — Kitchener 4-3 Barrie (2OT)
Rangers leads series 3-0
Dylan Edwards bundled home a loose puck at 5:24 of double overtime as the Rangers took a 3-0 series lead over the Colts.
Sam O’Reilly (TB), Carson Campbell and Edwards had all scored in regulation for Kitchener while Christian Kirsch (SJ) made 36 saves. Emil Hemming (DAL), William Schneid and Kashawn Aitcheson (NYI) had goals for Barrie as Ben Hrebik made 46 saves.
Edwards’ first of the night came with just 1:12 to play in regulation that gave Kitchener a 3-2 lead but once again Aitcheson forced overtime in the final moments for the second straight game as he levelled the game with only 12.1 seconds left on the clock.
But it was Edwards who would snatch Game 3 for Kitchener as they are now one win away from their first OHL title since 2008.
