11 CHL Players Invited to USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp
Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that 11 CHL players are among the 40 players invited by USA Hockey to take part in the 2011 USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp this summer in Lake Placid, N.Y. The players will be auditioning for a spot on the U.S. National Junior Team that will take part in the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2011-Jan. 5, 2012, in Calgary and Edmonton, AB.
Among the USA Hockey invitees are seven returnees from the bronze medal-winning 2011 U.S. National Junior Team, including Emerson Etem (Long Beach, CA) of the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The camp, which will take place at Lake Placid’s Olympic Center from August 6-13, will feature practices, intra-squad scrimmages and international games featuring Finland, Sweden and the United States.
