2018 NHL Draft Profile – Noah Dobson
Noah Dobson of the Mastercard Memorial Cup champion Acadie-Bathurst Titan is the fifth-ranked North American Skater on NHL Central Scouting’s Final Draft Rankings. The Summerside, PE native was named to the QMJHL’s First All-Star Team this past season with 17 goals, 52 assists and 69 points in 67 games. He added 13 points (3-10–13) in 20 playoff games to help Acadie-Bathurst win the President’s Cup before chipping in with seven points (2-5–7) in four games at the Mastercard Memorial Cup.

NHL Central Scouting says: Very effective puck moving, two way defenceman – good puck distribution game and possesses a very good shot from the point on powerplay – good skater with quickness and mobility – sees many options on zone exits or can skate the puck out of trouble – supports the rush and makes himself a good option – point producer with size that defends well and utilizes strong positioning and a good stick in defensive zone – top five in QMJHL defenceman scoring all season.
