26 CHL Graduates at 2017 NHL All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles

26 CHL graduates are attending NHL All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, celebrating 100 years of NHL hockey.

The Atlantic Division won the NHL All-Star Skills Competition, defeating the Pacific Division 4-1 in a shootout to secure the victory. As a result, the Atlantic Division has chosen to face the Metropolitan Division in the first semi-final of Sunday’s 3-on-3 NHL All-Star Game tournament.

Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid (Erie Otters) came just shy of setting a new NHL All-Star Skills Competition record for fastest skater with a time of 13.020 seconds.

Other CHL grads in John Tavares (New York Islanders/London Knights) and Patrick Kane (Chicago Blackhawks/London Knights) came away victorious in the Accuracy Shooting contest.

Montreal Canadiens defenceman Shea Weber (Kelowna Rockets) recorded the hardest shot at a speed of 102.8mph.
